I am now well established in my new studio in Hardings Yard. It has plenty of light and space, and is adjacent to Jodie Douglas, who does all my framing.

Having studied Art and Education at Homerton College Cambridge in the 1970’s, my art career until recently has blended the teaching and tutoring of art with the development of my own work.
My paintings express sensations, memories and responses to my world. Bridle paths and drovers’ roads, ancient burial sites and stone circles, tracks and holloways all whisper their story.
Making drawings and notes in the landscape is the beginning of the creative process, where decisions about composition, size and medium begin.
I work from a studio high up on the edge of the Cotswolds, surrounded by spectacular sky and earth taking inspiration from my surroundings.
