I have been fortunate to have spent my working life doing what I love. In my early career, I taught art. I spent many happy years working with young people developing and encouraging their interest in the subject. My own work had to take a backseat then, but as soon as I was able I went back into the studio and started producing my own paintings drawings and collages.  I still teach, but just local adult workshops and groups.

The studio is where I am most at home. These paintings reflect the joy I feel when I am making coloured marks on a surface. I live and work surrounded by the big skies, fields, hedges and farmland of the north Cotswolds. It is this natural world which I find most inspirational.
